Privacy
This policy explains what information WiseApply collects, why, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email hello@wiseapply.co and we will respond personally.
What we collect
- Account information. The name, email address, and password you provide when you sign up.
- Job-search brief. The CV, cover letter, target roles, salary expectations, location preferences, and other career details you share so we can apply on your behalf.
- Platform credentials. If you give us logins for sites like LinkedIn or Indeed so we can submit applications, those are stored encrypted and accessible only to your assigned specialist team.
- Application activity. Records of the jobs we have applied to on your behalf, including company, role, link, and recruiter replies.
- Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) and anonymous product analytics to keep the service working.
How we use it
- To submit job applications on your behalf, the core service.
- To show you a live record of those applications in your dashboard.
- To support and improve the product (debugging, analytics, internal QA).
- To bill you and to send service-related emails (login confirmations, billing receipts, account changes).
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who can see what
Your job-search brief and application history are visible only to (1) you, (2) the specialists assigned to your account, and (3) WiseApply administrators for support purposes. Specialists see what they need to do their work. They do not see other customers’ data.
Where data lives
Customer data is stored in EU regions on infrastructure provided by our hosting partners (Supabase for our database and authentication, Vercel for our application hosting). Both providers offer industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
Your rights (GDPR & UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@wiseapply.co to make a request and we will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from your dashboard, which removes your profile and search brief from our active systems.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to measure aggregated, anonymous usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will email you in advance and update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
